How to replace faulty Battery Cell in Electrical Substation
- If we want to replace the battery cell named “B”.
- Now connect the short-link clamp (RED Marking) to Positive terminal of Cell “C”.
- Now connect the short-link clamp (Black Marking) to Negative terminal of Cell “A”.
- After proper fitting of short-link clamp remove both connector strip of cell “B”.
- Remove cell “B” and place new fully charged battery cell and connect both connector strip.
- If fully charged battery cell not available then direct normal shortlink should be provided between “C” positive and “A” negative.
- Remove the short-link.
